Included in the IDP are the driver’s name, picture, and relevant details taken from their original license. It can be acquired from authorized organizations in the driver’s native country and usually has a validity of one year from the date of issuing. Keep in mind that the IDP is not a substitute for a valid driver’s license; you must always have both when using it.
